Dear Mrs. Tibaijuka,
As we bid you farewell, with our good wishes for your happiness and success on the next phase of your career, we cannot but recall with gratitude your support and contribution to making this fabulous UN Pavilion a reality.
Your memorable inaugural lecture four months ago, which seems like only yesterday, gave us the inspiration and the determination to make the UN Pavilion stand out as an example of what the United Nations is capable of doing under an inspired leadership.
We assure you we will continue on the path you set out for us to the day of the closure of the pavilion and will extend to your successor our full cooperation and support.
